How to move around Paray-le-Monial?

Paray-le-Monial is located in a preserved and rural area.

Public transport trips:
Regular TER lines allow traffic to the East towards Nevers and Moulins-sur-Allier, to the North towards Chalon-sur-Saône and Dijon and to the South-East towards La Clayette and Lyon.
Bus lines crisscross the entire Saône-et-Loire department and make it possible to complete the rail infrastructure.

River trips:
The Canal du Center offers river access and has a nautical stop "Éric Tabarly" allowing the reception of boaters. The nautical stopover extends over 1.5 km and is equipped with 16 mooring rings.

Cycling trips:
The city is crossed by Eurovélo 6, a major cycling route in Europe. It is one of the 14 routes of the EuroVélo network, created on the initiative of the European Federation of Cyclists (ECF)
in 1994. Its objective is to follow three of the largest European rivers, crucibles of European civilisation: the Loire, the Rhine and the Danube. A secondary axis connects the Eurovélo6 from Roanne and arrives at Paray-le-Monial.

Air travel:
Access by air is possible thanks to the aerodrome of Saint-Yan, a neighboring town. Saint-Yan airport is owned by the joint syndicate, SYAB, made up of the communities that manage it. Its infrastructures are complete and efficient: control tower, runways equipped for landings at night or without visibility. These runways are long enough and have enough lift to accommodate up to the Boeing 737.
